Ryan Pinchot is a PhD student and graduate instructor at Rutgers University in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. He holds a BA and an MA from Cleveland State University’s Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. His research focuses on cinematic and literary representations of Indigenous, Afro-Diasporic, and campesino groups in Colombia, touching on issues of decoloniality, environmental humanities, and social movements.
